Villa Kram Modern House Project

Architect couple Natallia and Pelle Sørensen has recently presented Villa Kram to the guests of the Copenhagen Climate Change Summit in December 2009 as a showcase for sustainable living. The home for two families is a proposal on how a low-energy house can be designed with a lot of amazing experiences and be optimized for the local potentials.

The house includes new construction types, new types of insulation and heat pump technology for ventilation and hot water. The three story house has a 13 meter high skylight shaft which is placed as a central constructive element, in addition to providing light for the stairs and basement. The skyline also serves as a technical control room where the two families can keep an eye on energy consumption. Via
